Näyttelyn teemana on ympäristö laajassa merkityksessä. Ympäristö on kokemuksen tasolla henkilökohtainen, mutta yhteisöllisessä kontekstissa poliittinen. Ympäristö kaikkine merkityksineen on kiihtyvän poliittisen keskustelun kohteena. Henkilökohtainen kokemus ympäristöstä uhkaa kadota erilaisten suunnitelmien, argumenttien ja trendien sekä ideologioiden sekaan.
The main theme of the exhibition is the environment in a broad sense of the word. The environment with all its various meanings is the subject of an increasingly heated political debate today. Personal experiences of the environment threaten to disappear in a maelstrom of plans, arguments, trends and ideologies. The starting point of the exhibition is personal experience of the immediate environment, and the possibility of seeing the ordinary and the familiar in a new way, as something strange.
