At SUPERMARKET 2026, ID:I galleri presents Growing Landscapes, a collaborative project between Swedish artist Annelie Wallin and Art Hub Pikisaari from Oulu, Finland, represented by artists Minna Kangasmaa and Tuomo Kangasmaa. The project approaches the landscape from two interconnected perspectives: as an active subject that sustains life and sets boundaries, and as an object constantly shaped by the interaction between the environment and its inhabitants. The landscape is depicted as a dynamic process where the boundaries between life forms and their surroundings are blurred. By following these interactions, the project reflects on how changing one’s landscape ultimately means changing oneself, raising questions about the human role under contemporary conditions.Growing Landscapes is built through a dialogue between Annelie Wallin’s slimemold video work, Minna Kangasmaa’s clay installation, and Tuomo Kangasmaa’s sound work—forming a constantly changing, living whole.
